 Middlesex Township Police Department

 Middlesex Township Police Department is responsible for providing 24 hour police protection for an area of approximately 27 square miles with approximately 110 miles of paved roads. Middlesex Township is called the "Hub" of the East Coast.  Intersecting the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Interstate  81 connected by U.S. Route 11, approximately 38,000 people travel the area known as the "Miracle  Mile" (U.S. Rt. 11) each day.

 In 1968 the Middlesex Township Police Department started with one Police Officer, today the  present strength has grown to 12 sworn officers.

MISSION STATEMENT
The purpose of NDS is to provide Mediation services as an alternative to other means of resolving disputes.  To fulfill its purpose, NDS shall:

*  Provide a neutral, nonviolent setting for disputing parties.
*  Provide trained and experience mediators to facilitate cooperation between parties.
*  Provide mediation services, without regard to ability to pay. as an alternative to others, more costly, method of resolving disputes.

MEDIATION CAN SOLVE
* A dispute with a family member
* A dispute with a landlord or tenant
* A dispute with a business, agency, merchant, consumer or organization
* A dispute with an employer or employee
* A dispute with a neighbor, including harassment, loud music or noise, parking problems, pet problems, property line disputes or property maintenance issues
