At what age does a dog need a license?
Dog licenses are mandatory for dogs three months and older. Applications are available at the County Treasurer's Office in the new Courthouse in Carlisle, or a mail in application is available at the Township Office.
 

What are the leash laws?
All pets must be on a leash at all times and are not permitted to defecate on park property.

How can I register to vote?
Mail in Voter Registration forms are available in the Township Office or by contacting Voter's Registration at 240-6385 or 697-0371.(List of Precincts/Polling Place)

Who is the trash hauler?
Trash Collection for residents in Township is through York Waste Disposal. All businesses can use a hauler of their own choice.

The Township was established in 1859

Middlesex Township is home to approximately 6,000 people

Middlesex Township is made up of 26.9 square miles in area

There are approximately 42 miles of Township Roads and 23 miles of State Roads

There are 10 traffic Lights from Harmony Hall Road to Roadway Drive and 60 street lights, but no grocery stores or banks

Middlesex Township is home to the "Miracle Mile", the second most heavily traveled (by truck) section of highway in the United States

The Appalachian Trail passes through Middlesex Township connecting South Mountain with the Blue Mountain

First wrought iron cannon in America was made in Middlesex

During the Whiskey Insurrection George Washington slept in the log house by the bank of the Conodoguinet, near the waterfall. 

The northern most advance of the confederacy during the Civil War is marked by a plaque on Rt. 34 near the summit of Sterrett's Gap

At one time there had been a 200 room health resort in Carlisle Springs
